A Baby Dragon should appear immediately and swim/flop towards the nearest non-lava ground. A good plan is to make a pool of lava on a flat surface, then carefully aim (Hold F on PC to bring up the targeting reticle) and throw in the egg. ĭragon Eggs can be hatched into Baby Dragons by throwing them into lava.
